sifa and i did some shopping in ankara for summer and watched cem yilmaz's new standup - it was a short nice break, after 3 months of hard work for GNC larnaca support.

working on what matters most

i've been able to work hard for the past few months.

the todo app on my new iphone is helping me focus on the most critical things my businesses (mostly GNC) needs and everyday, it reminds and encourages me to work on what matters most. being able to check emails easily on my phone also puts me on top of what's coming.
iphone definitely had a huge impact on me.
i must note that it is a pity to spend that much money for the iphone and not have an itunes account setup - stupid posh people.

i am almost done with redesigning the GNC website.
we have coded our own dynamic packaging solution, and offering package holidays with chartered OnurAir and Pegasus flights at the moment.
we hope to launch LCA support by the end of the month, this will be quite exciting and we really look forward to that.
also got our 0800 number and extended office hours...

i broke my thumb during a soccer game last tuesday.

we went to the zone mongolian restaurant in bellapais with sifa's friends, then to the tango to buddha followed by the faces nightclub. it was a good memorable night.

my urinal with auto-flush - faster, simpler and cleaner way to pee :) shall i get one of those flies? it's proven to reduce splatter!

travel technology show, london

berkan, ahmet and i went to london for 3 days for the
travel technology show.

talked to a few suppliers for flights to larnaca for our GNC business. we plan to implement the dynamic packaging part ourselves to decrease the costs vastly.

it was so fruitful that we decided to go to travel and search marketing exhibitions/conferences more often.

we went to hinterglemm-saalbach, austria for skiing.
stayed at the alpen-karawanserai hotel and loved it.

the 4-course dinners at the hotel were to die for.

the 4-cheese pizzas at the square were just so delicious, we had to have one every day!
the spa was one of a kind and the heated outdoor pool while snowing was an experience. i had my first message from a "masseur". doh!

thanks to our ski instructor boris, we have improved our skiing.
the beginner slopes were nothing like beginner though.
the first day of skiing, we had to go down on our bums...
